Life Goes On...

Not much has been going on around here since everyone left me. I hate the feeling when you are excited and planning for weeks for something big, then when its over you have to go back to normal life (like planning a wedding... so anti-climatic)

Anyway, we had some old friends in Vegas for a wedding. We drove down to meet them for the afternoon. Ive been to Vegas a hundred times, and for me its not really exciting unless you are rich or have some event going on... plus its more fun for people who drink or gamble. Richard hadn't ever been to the strip (we've drove through a couple times). He was excited. So we started walking around... 

The Bellagio has a fountain show every hour on the hour, so that was cool...

So after walking around for like less than a hour, Richard realized that Vegas is really over rated... especially when it's hot. There are always just a million people and nudity every where. We hit the main attractions and were ready to go.

Don't get me wrong... Vegas is super fun when you're there for like a wedding or a weekend get away with your friends... or if you are shopping or seeing shows...

I'm happy that we live close enough now that we can go for special occasions and what not. It's always more fun with a lot of people, so if you're driving through, let us know and we'll meet you down there!
